We hope that over the years from 13 to 17, our players develop a lasting desire to remain involved in football, hopefully, moving on to join our senior men's and women's teams. By investing in the development of our junior players, we are not only nurturing their love for the game but also laying the foundation for their future success.
We believe that players of all abilities should have the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential. At Whitford City FC, we understand the importance of creating a nurturing environment where young athletes can thrive and grow, not just as players but as individuals.
Our coaching approach over these years is centered around providing comprehensive skills-based training that caters to the unique needs of our players. We believe in fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere, where players feel encouraged to take risks, learn from their mistakes, and continuously improve.
Additionally, we recognise the importance of creating a fun and enjoyable experience for our young players. We strive to create an environment where they can express themselves freely, experiment with different strategies, and find their unique playing style.
We take pride in witnessing our players grow, both on and off the field, and we are committed to providing them with the tools and support they need to reach their full potential.
Players participate in various divisions of the Football West competition. Games are on Sunday mornings, with training and home games all at Warrandyte Park, Warrandyte Drive, Craigie.
Football West organises teams from all clubs into different divisions according to playing strength.
For this reason, we invite players to attend our trials to allow each player to be assessed by our coaches and placed into appropriate teams.
Please see out 2024 Trials page for details of next season's anticipated female leagues.
